Deer managemnt plans

At GCA Forestry UK, we provide tailored deer management plans for woodlands and forestry sites of all sizes.

Our plans combine site history, habitat condition, thermal drone surveys and Deer Impact Assessments to provide clear, evidence-based information on deer numbers, species, sex ratio and browsing impact.

Where required, we use this information to develop future cull recommendations and estimated stalking hours, helping landowners plan realistic and effective deer management.

Our approach can also support grant applications, including WS1 deer management funding, as well as ongoing monitoring and demonstrating improvements in woodland condition.

Evidence-led planning. Practical deer management. Measurable results.
